  • Blooming Direct — eCommerce website

    The Brief
    E-scape Interactive was given the challenge of creating an identity for an online merchant wishing to sell a variety of plants and gardening accessories, in addition to the design and development of the selling platform and blog.
    The Approach
    We were tasked with creating the branding, web design, and produce the ecommerce site and blog. With the target market predominantly female between the ages of 35 and 55, the objective was to give the brand and site a fresh, modern feel that would appeal to this demographic, whilst attracting the attention of the younger market. Unlike a number of the competitors, this website needed to reflect a balanced proposition showcasing flowers, bouquets, garden plants, and gardening accessories. The website required a full content management system with appropriate client controls.
    The Result
    The team created a vibrant brand with the catchy and appropriate name of 'Blooming Direct'. The identity of the brand was carried through into the friendly look and feel of the website. Various methods of search and navigation were added to the site to create ease of use with an easily accessible blog, where a range of articles, offers and advice can be found. Attention is brought to the company's USPs, such as free shipping, Jersey products and quality through a range of central and side banners.

    A range of cross sell and upsell techniques are featured across the website in order to maximise the online conversions whilst delivering a superior customer experience. This has been epitomised by providing an online customer area detailing order status and address book, among others. In addition to the attractive front-end of the website, a full management system was created on secure servers which provides the client with the functionality to administer the website and fulfill online orders. An affiliate marketing and SEO programme was set up to promote the site further (post launch).

  • Lloyds TSB Offshore — content managed website

    Background
    E-scape Interactive has been working with Lloyds TSB International since 2004 and continues to provide strategic consultancy, creative production, development, content management services, and analytical services.
    Delivery
    The team works closely with Lloyds TSB International's online marketing team and product managers on a day-to-day basis, producing anything from concept design through to banner production. Close working relationships with Lloyds TSB International's other vendors based in the UK ensure that the bank's online presence and promotions are strong and effective.

    More recently, we have redesigned the Lloyds TSB International website which allows customers to easily navigate around the website and find the information that is relevant to them. In addition to this, we have provided competitor benchmarking reports and contributed to proposals on how to improve their web strategy. We continue to provide first-line support for the offshore website, including design, consultancy, and full content management for changes and additions to all web pages. Work requests are received, tracked, and processed through our client project management system and managed by a dedicated Account Manager.

    By consolidating our websites into a single infrastructure we are now able to manage our content more effectively and making changes is less time consuming. We are pleased with the new look and feel of the site and plan to make further developments to enhance the overall customer experience.   • Sure — Cable and Wireless — content managed website
    Sure — Cable and Wireless content managed website

    The Brief
    In 2006 Cable & Wireless launched 'Sure Mobile' as the second mobile telephone provider in Jersey. In line with this launch, E-scape Interactive successfully pitched for the delivery of the Sure Mobile website. We also worked closely with traditional agencies in the UK and Jersey to integrate the on and offline promotions. A detailed project scope was also completed by E-scape on behalf of Cable & Wireless for the Sure Mobile project.

    Key objectives included having an online signup area, account management area, top-up area for pay-as-you-go and to utilise an existing content management system that had already been previously purchased.
    The Approach
    Due to the technical requirements and unique nature of this project, all features were created for Cable & Wireless as a bespoke solution, consisting of a separate administration area with a number of after-sale feature controls. Using their existing content management solution 'Immediacy' for all brochureware pages, we successfully launched the SureCW web proposition and achieved a number of firsts within the Cable & Wireless Group along the way, relating to integration with offline customer information, as well as amalgamation of the first online shop & signup solution.
    The Result
    Despite numerous high level changes to the business during the project life cycle the project launched on time and on budget. We have since implemented and launched two further versions of the shop for Guernsey and Isle of Man and we continue to work closely with Cable & Wireless on their web strategy. We were recently commissioned to provide web services for future product/service launches — currently in progress.

    We chose E-scape for their wealth of experience in this specialist field. They are a great team, which worked seamlessly with us to make the www.surecw.com website a real asset to customers and our business. The site has already has a great number of new customers who are as pleased as we are with the end product. It has been such a success that are going to launch additional services with E-scape across the Channel Islands and Isle of Man very soon!

  • Reed Insurance — content managed website
    Reed Insurance content managed website

    The Brief
    Reed Insurance had no web presence and commissioned E-scape Interactive to design and develop a website that would reflect their services and enhance their business offering to their clients in addition to providing an online facility for lead generation.
    The Approach
    Working with an existing brand and colour palette, we designed a site that is simple in function and navigation that still retained all the primary features of an insurance website, including an FAQ's section and library of claim forms. To provide easy administration for the staff at Reed Insurance an open source content management system was integrated with the website and Click to Call technology was implemented to allow for instant call backs and onsite help for customers completing forms.
    The Result
    Customers are now able to enter a few key details when enquiring about Motor, Home, Travel or Marine insurance and in three easy steps can opt for a representative from Reeds to call them straight back, later, or drop them an email, all in their lunch break, if required!

    Each product offered by Reed Insurance has it's own identity, overview and key features giving the customer a good snapshot of what each product means to them.

    Early signs since launch have been positive with a good number of enquires coming through the website and positive feedback from many existing customers.

  • Roulette Clothing — eCommerce website
    Roulette Clothing eCommerce website

    The Brief
    Roulette Fashions is a Jersey-based fashion retailer that commissioned E-scape Interactive to re-design and develop their existing website in order to better reflect their brand philosophy, provide a better customer experience and drive online sales that would complement their offline business. Online stock control was required along with full catalogue management and a newsletter manager all to be administered by Roulette Fashions.
    The Approach
    Based on a design brief that required the website to be positioned in-between the likes of ASOS.com and Matchesfashions.com, we produced an overall design that best reflected the offline proposition. With a limited budget, we utilised a leading open source eCommerce platform called Magento Commerce to provide the flexibility and scalability required. Integrated features such as stock control, catalogue management and newsletter manager, along with the benefit of no license fees, meant that this solution was a perfect marriage with the Roulette Fashions project.

    The payment service provider 'Protx' was integrated to handle all the online transactions which successfully credits the existing retailer merchant account.
    The Result
    Since launching, Roulette Fashions have seen online sales increase and rise as a direct result of our best practice design standards and the superior marketing features of Magento Commerce.

  • Spike Productions — content managed website
    Spike Productions content managed website

    The Brief
    Spike Productions commissioned E-scape Interactive to design and develop their website, showcasing their work and services. They wanted elements of interactive design and wanted to move away from a traditional website whilst maintaining their brand identity and philosophy. In addition, they required a content management system enabling them to manage the content of their website on an ongoing basis.
    The Approach
    Using an open source PHP content management system which was free from any licensing costs, we designed a unique looking site consisting of design elements from video production and visual references from Spike Productions. The new design showcased their services, the team and a show reel of work that they have produced.
    The Result
    As a result of the successful relationship, Spike Productions has since returned to us to work on the design and production of a video sharing website and we have also produced a number of 'Spikecasts' on behalf of Spike for a number of their clients.

    We set the team a pretty tough challenge; to develop a site that not only encompasses state of the art web-TV technology, but also to create a visually exciting platform that entices the viewer to explore many of its interesting features. It took a lot of hard work but we couldn't have asked for more from the end result, it's a stunning site that bridges the gap between functionality and entertainment and we love it!
