    Monopoly
Being able to work on a brand as strong as Monopoly was a real treat for us here at E-scape Interactive. We all know how the game works, we all remember the family disagreements at Christmas when someone hid £500 up their sleeve and didn't pay rent when they should have…

We stripped this back and worked with the key features that make this game the success it was then and still is. We offer the player the choice of playing pieces such as the dog, hat, iron, boat, and went from there, allowing them to collect groups of coloured properties and bonuses along the way. This Flash game remains one of the most played and longest running games on the Camelot website.

    Passport to Prizes
Passport to Prizes ticks all the boxes for us as an interactive Flash game: travel, 3D-animation, planes, trains, boats, and hot air balloons! In place of using dice to roll and move the character around the board, we designed a new compass spinner, which fit in well in terms of theme and ease of use.

The most taxing part of the game build was thinking up 18 multi-lingual greetings from around the world! The end result is an engaging game that takes the player off on a global journey without leaving their desk!

    Pirates of the Caribbean
Being able to work with a brand as strong as this one was the source of much excitement (and bad pirate impressions) within the office. The prospect of Keira Knightley or Johnny Depp popping into the office to have their photos taken even more so… Then we stopped dreaming and concentrated on producing an interactive Flash game to coincide with the launch of Walt Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest movie.

We decided on character selection to engage the player from the outset, two games per play plus a bonus game. We went all out in terms of design, using photo-realistic Flash animation to house both games, and married them with water, thunder, and lightning effects! The game was well received by the client and players alike!

    Rocks to Riches
The theme of this Flash game evolved from the old grabbing machines remembered from our childhoods at fairs. We decided that a more mechanical theme would suit this game perfectly and Rocks to Riches was born.

The player has multiple ways of winning in the game by either collecting or matching three of the same coloured rocks, or by grabbing instant cash or multiplier bags. It is this variety of ways to win along with a high top prize that has made this game so popular.

    Spending Spree
We were tasked with producing an interactive version of an already existing retail card, which boasted a top prize of £500 per week for a year! The theme was shopping and the demographic was the female market, with a January launch to coincide with the post Christmas sales.

The theme was strong and we even managed to fit in an engaging intro screen introducing our brand character. The Flash game plays out in two windows, allowing the player seven different ways to win, with a 'yours beats theirs' mechanic and a 'match to win'. What we could all do with £500 per week for a year!

  • Snakes and Ladders Classic Flash game

    Snakes and Ladders Classic
E-scape Interactive was commissioned to design an Instant Win Flash game based on the well-known board game Snakes and Ladders. The challenge was to deliver a positive play experience which kept the player engaged. This was successfully achieved by introducing a reward element each time the player lands on a snake and has resulted in an online game which is great fun, even if you don't win every time!

The game was even singled out by senior reporter Emma Rigby at Revolution Magazine who stated in an article that she "…experienced a genuine thrill online for the first time ever".

We are really pleased with the way that this game delivers such a great playing experience in a simple yet highly innovative way… Snakes and ladders is a clever online incarnation of the traditional board game.
