Broadlands Estates

E-scape was approached by Broadlands Estate Agents with the task of redesigning and redeveloping their website.  As one of Jersey’s leading estate agents their previous website was not a true reflection of the strength of their brand.   

Broadlands wanted a website with a comprehensive search facility that would quickly and efficiently deliver accurate results from their portfolio of properties to high volumes of users.

Having researched the market for a suitable estate agency software system we recommended Des Res as the base platform.  We then set about designing a bespoke site for Broadlands.  Using the Silverstripe open source CMS for all content pages, we built a fast, scalable website with well proportioned product pages, large multiple images and clear calls-to-action.

This has been an extremely successful project in many respects. For example, by applying a number of best practices during the site migration we saw a smooth transition and minimal traffic loss from the old website to the new one.

Feedback has been positive from both buyers and sellers and the negotiators are making good use of the many Des Res features which have been integrated into the website.
