How we make our website as accessible as possible
We believe in making our web site's information and functionality equally available to all visitors and we have therefore made this site as usable and accessible as possible so you can easily find the information you are looking for. - Text Size
- If you would prefer the font size to be larger or smaller, you can easily adjust it using your browser. Please select your browser for the list below to find out how to change your settings.
- Internet Explorer 6
- If you wish to increase or decrease the text size in Internet Explorer 6, follow these instructions:
- Click on the 'View' menu at the top of your browser.
- Click on the 'Text Size' option.
- Select the size you would prefer to use.
- Internet Explorer 7
- If you are using Internet Explorer 7, follow these instructions:
- Click on the 'Page' menu at the top right hand side of your browser.
- Click on the 'Text Size' option.
- Select the size you would prefer to use.
- Firefox
- If you are using Firefox, follow these instructions:
- Click on the 'View' menu at the top of your browser.
- Click on the 'Zoom' option.
- If you have 'Zoom Text Only' selected, then the text will increase or decrease in size when you click 'Zoom In' or 'Zoom Out'. If it is unselected, you can zoom the full page in and out to suit your preferences.
- Netscape Navigator
- To increase or decrease the text size in Netscape Navigator, follow these basic instructions:
- Click on the 'View' menu in your browser.
- Click on the 'Increase Font' option.
- Opera
- If you are using Opera, follow these instructions:
- Click on the 'View' menu at the top of your browser.
- Click on the 'Zoom' option.
- Select a percentage to zoom in or out to to make the website appear larger or smaller.
- Safari
- If you are using Safari, follow these instructions:
- Hold down the command key on your keyboard. On Macintosh computers, the command key is indicated by an Apple or a cloverleaf symbol.
- Still holding the command key, press the plus (+) key to increase the font size or the minus (-) key to decrease the font size.
- Shortcuts
- Important navigation links have shortcut keys to enable quick access; these can be accessed using your keyboard as well as your mouse. You access these options by pressing the 'Alt' key and the number or letter for that option (below). Depending on your browser, you may then need to press the 'Enter' key. Please note that this feature does not work in all browsers (e.g. Camino on MacOSX). On a Macintosh Computer use the 'Ctrl' key instead of the 'Alt' key.
