Jason has been involved in the Internet from the beginning, experimenting with the earliest browser technologies during his time at University, to building the first ISP and Web Server farm in Jersey and developing open technologies for delivering a wide range of internet services including Media Delivery and Secure Payments.
Always a strong proponent for open and alternative technologies Jason champions the Open Source initiative for E-scape and is always ready to share that alternative view, be it which development languages and platforms are 'hot' to why everyone should be using a Mac.
With Jason's extensive history in Internet development the E-scape team always has a strong lead and source of experience to draw upon. He is still very active with hands on development concentrating on introducing new technologies to E-scape's solutions with particular emphasis on Mobile Apps.
“The mobile development space is incredibly dynamic at the moment, with multiple development ecosystems to work with each with its own particular take on how it should be done. Its an exciting time to be part of a forward looking development team.”
“Open source platforms offer some really significant wins for businesses willing to break free from the dogma that Microsoft is the only solution.”
“Android is an interesting alternative to the iOS platform, but from a business perspective Apple has the revenue and user experience lead compared to its competitors. That's why I always target iOS before any other platform.”
